Geneseo, IL May 13, 2016 – Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation helps enrich the lives of others by supporting the arts
As part of its commitment to give back to the community, Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation recently announced that it will donate $5,000 over the next two years to the Geneseo Art League and Gallery in support of their efforts to promote the arts within Geneseo and the surrounding area
“We are extremely grateful to the Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation for their continued support, said Jodi Haars, President of the Geneseo Art League and Gallery. These funds will be used in various capacities including providing low or no cost classes and events to area children and adults. As well as help to offset the cost of some needed window display fixtures, gallery lighting and class supplies.”
The Geneseo Art League and Gallery is founded on the mission to promote the arts by providing a place for instruction, display, and creative activity.
The Geneseo Communication Charitable Foundation was established in 2002 by Geneseo Communications, Inc. to enhance, develop and benefit the Geneseo Community.
Geneseo Communication Charitable Foundation grant applications can be found here and can be submitted at any time throughout the year. Applications are reviewed quarterly and all 501(c) 3 organizations that reside within Geneseo Communications servicing area are encouraged to apply.
