Rebuilding Together Henry County receives funds from Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation

As part of its commitment to give back to the community, Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation recently announced that it will donate $3,000 to Rebuilding Together Henry County in support of their mission to help elderly and low-income homeowners with needed home repairs.

“Rebuilding Together helps preserve and revitalize neighborhoods by performing much-needed repairs to houses of low-income homeowners – particularly elderly and disabled persons and families in need within the Geneseo, Cambridge, Colona, Annawan and Kewanee districts. Since our first project in 1994, Rebuilding Together Henry County has impacted over 425 homeowner families and five nonprofit facilities. Together with the support of Geneseo Communications we hope to continue to provide those in need with necessary home repairs as well as provide those that are disabled with the gift of mobility,” said Sarah Snyder, Executive Director, Rebuilding Together Henry County.

The Geneseo Communications Charitable Foundation was established in 2002 by Geneseo Communications, Inc. to enhance, develop and benefit the Geneseo Community.
