Geneseo Communications is looking for a full-time Customer Service Specialist.
Full-time, Non-Exempt, Hourly Position
Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Compensation Range: Competitive Rate – Experience will be taken into consideration
Geneseo Communications has an opening for a Customer Service Specialist (CSS) in the Geneseo office. The Customer Service Specialist interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquiries, concerns, complaints about products and services including payment processing and data entry. The CSS will respond to phone/internet support/repair and troubleshooting calls thus should possess active listening skills and ability to communicate effectively while making decisions or taking actions. Interpersonal skills necessary for Customer Service Specialist to provide excellent and efficient customer service, ensuring a positive customer experience. CSS position will require traveling and working some days in a branch office.
Skills and Abilities:
- Associate’s degree or two-year college or technical school – Preferred but not required
- Experience working in customer service
- Computer Skills required – ability to perform tasks and recognize terms
- Communications Skills – Oral/Written
- Knowledge of phone or internet functionality helpful but not required.
